Verizon’s Interactive Calling (VIC) is service for bringing together enterprise contact support centers, mobile solutions, and various digital support efforts (like IVR) into one unified experience. VIC provides a mobile application framework, integration, and infrastructure allowing for enterprise customers to serve customers custom and contextual content for common support needs.
Thus, enabling a few immediate advantages like: quicker customer problem resolution, better call routing, and reducing customer support costs. In short, this experience will work by intercepting outbound call attempts to designated Verizon toll free numbers from certain smart phones. Rather than immediately connecting the call, VIC will offer the user the opportunity for an enhanced visual customer care experience.
Verizon has a need for short term Design deliverables to be completed in conjunction with the initial prototyping of this solution.
